The brand new Meryl Streep Center for Performing Artists — the Los Angeles home of the nonprofit SAG-AFTRA Foundation — opened in August 2024, providing free career-building programs, classes and services to SAG-AFTRA members.

Take a tour of this state-of-the-art facility with SAG-AFTRA Foundation President and Chairman of the Board Courtney B. Vance. Learn all about this educational and creative hub, and its cutting-edge technology, tools and resources offered to all SAG-AFTRA artists.

The crown jewel of the Meryl Streep Center is the Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson Screening Room, Powered by LG, that features 100 seats dedicated to SAG-AFTRA performers who made significant contributions to our Emergency Financial Assistance Program to support their own.

Here, the Foundation hosts its Conversations programs where audiences enjoy screenings on a stunning 200-inch “Miraclass” 4K direct-view LED cinema screen from LG Electronics, as well as immersive surround sound.
