The Makeup and Hairstyling Symposium is a chance for museum visitors to learn about the nominees’ creative processes and how they work with actors and filmmakers to bring characters to life. The Symposium includes a showcase of items from the nominated films, including concept sketches, wigs, prosthetic makeup pieces, and reference materials. Open to the public.
