Art Direction Winners: 1957 Oscars
Cedric Gibbons, Malcolm F. Brown, Edwin B. Willis and F. Keogh Gleason win the Oscar for Art Direction (Black-and-White) for Somebody Up There Like Me, and Lyle R. Wheeler, John DeCuir, Walter M. Scott and Paul S. Fox win the Oscar for Art Direction (Color) for The King and I at the 29th Academy Awards. Marge and Gower Champion present the awards; hosted by Jerry Lewis.
